I got one of the worst ones in which the only fix was to re install windows. From the recent patches there have been a schlew of crashing issues/ startup issues, I wouldnt be suprised if it was one of those. I do not understand how that would be the problem now.Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Again, the previous Total Wars, Steam-required or not, work on my Mac under bootcamp with Windows 7 installed onto an external hardrive. I am baffled as to why I cannot get this game to work.
